About

I started So in Spanish to help other Spanish students learn and improve their skills.

After minoring in it in college and using it in the workplace, I decided it was time to take my knowledge to the internet. I mulled over the idea for a few days and ended up moving forward with this crazy idea.

Many people have created pages that teach you Spanish. But there aren’t a ton of websites dedicated to providing free content, and most flashcards you’ll find are behind a paywall or require a download.

So in Spanish is different. I share my favorite free and paid resources (that you can go with), and I share free blog posts and online-friendly flashcards.

What to Expect

  • New blog posts about Spanish and the learning process
  • Digital flashcards you can review over and over
  • Recommendations for books, apps, and other programs
  • More language learning content on our IG (@soinspanish)

Who So in Spanish Is For

So in Spanish is for Spanish students of all levels. Whether you’re just starting out or want to advance your vocab and grammar skills, this blog is for you.

As a former Spanish minor and a proficient speaker, I use my knowledge and experience to write the blog posts. I want to help you learn more efficiently and actually keep up with the language.

(I took multiple year+ long breaks.)

Learning Spanish the Right Way

Learning Spanish doesn’t have to be expensive or time-consuming. You can use online resources to learn for free or on a super strict budget.

The internet means it’s never been a better time to learn a second language. And with over 44 million US residents speaking Spanish at home, learning the language can be crucial.

Who Am I?

Hey there, I’m Hannah, and I started learning Spanish at age 12 when I started middle school. Between a lack of other interesting electives and some inspiration from The Cheetah Girls 2 (the one where they go to Spain), learning Spanish just made sense for me.

In college, I chose to minor in Spanish to make my music degree a little more practical. Now, I use my Spanish in my day job working with customers, and I’m so glad to have that knowledge.

After working on blogs for clients as well as my own blogs, I decided it was time to start a Spanish language learning site.
